The Main Ingredient
The Main Ingredient is an American soul and R&B group best known for their 1972 hit song, "Everybody Plays the Fool". The band began recording in 1970 and released their first album "L.T.D." that same year. Their later 1972 album "Rolling Down a Mountainside" reached #3 on the US R&B Chart. The group have continued to record and release records with their most recent album "Pure Magic" being released in 2001.
