Hank Williams III Hank Williams III is an American musician and songwriter, known sometimes as Hank 3, whose music flits between country and punk rock. He was born into the Williams dynasty of musicians, son of Hank Williams Jr, grandson of Willams Sr, and the half brother of Holly Williams. Hank has been resilient to the country tradition that his father and grandfather thrived in, instead finding himself drawn to punk and rock music. He has been member of two punk bands Assjack and Arson Anthem.
