Jerry Lee Lewis Jerry Lee Lewis was one of the first artists to be inaugurated into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Bringing an unprecedented edge to piano music, his raw energy has inspired countless performers, including Elton John and Billy Joel. 1957 saw his first hit 'Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On'. It was quickly followed by 'Great Balls of Fire', which brought him to the attention of an international audience and remains his biggest hit.
