Hall & Oates
Hall & Oates are an American music duo comprising of Daryl Hall and John Oates. They achieved their greatest fame in the late 1970s and early to mid-1980s with a fusion of rock and roll and rhythm and blues styles, which they dubbed "rock and soul". They are one of the most successful duos ever, releasing 21 albums and selling 80 million copies worldwide. They were further established as international artists after their involvement in the original Live Aid concert and "We Are The World" charity recording. Contemporary pop rock bands Gym Class Heroes and The Killers cite them as influences.
