The Crystals The Crystals are a New York City singing group and are considered one of the defining acts of the girl group era of the first half of the 1960s. Success came quickly as their first hit in 1961's "There's No Other (Like My Baby) reached number 20 in the Billboard chart. Their 1961—1964 chart hits — including "Uptown", "He's A Rebel", "Da Doo Ron Ron (When He Walked Me Home)" and "Then He Kissed Me" — featured three successive female lead singers and were all produced by Phil Spector.

Lyrics
When I'm all grown up, ain't no baby no more
I can do the things I couldn't do before
No more pony tails, I'll wear my hair up high
Because I'm 17, & that's the reason why

CHORUS:
Now I'm all grown up & I'll go where I wanna go
See who I wanna see, stay out late
I'm all grown up & I'll do what I wanna do
Be what I wanna be, gee I can hardly wait

Well I'm goin' on dates every Saturday night
& if he wants a kiss, I might say "All right"
I gotta have me fun & I'll be ready to go
I'm gonna go downtown, I'm gonna fill the floor

(chorus)

Gee, I can hardly wait

Lyrics
I met him on a Monday and my heart stood still
Da doo ron ron ron, da doo ron ron
Someboy told me that his name was Bill
Da doo ron ron ron, da doo ron ron

Yes, my heart stood still
Yes, his name was Bill
And when he walked me home
Da doo ron ron ron, da doo ron ron

He knew what he was doin' when he caught my eye
Da doo ron ron ron, da doo ron ron
He looked so quiet but my oh my
Da doo ron ron ron, da doo ron ron

Yes, he caught my eye
Yes, but my oh my
And when he walked me home
Da doo ron ron ron, da doo ron ron

Picked me up at seven and he looked so fine
Da doo ron ron ron, da doo ron ron
Someday soon I'm gonna make him mine
Da doo ron ron ron, da doo ron ron

Yes, he looked so fine
Yes, I'll make him mine
And when he walked me home
Da doo ron ron ron, da doo ron ron

Yeah, yeah, yeah
Da doo ron ron ron, da doo ron ron

Lyrics
The toy shop door is locked up tight
And everything is quiet for the night
When suddenly
The clock strikes twelve
The fun's begun

The dolls are in their best array
There's going to be a wonderful parade
Hark to the drum
Oh, here they come
Cries everyone

Hear them all cheering
Now they are nearing
There's the captain stiff as starch
Bayonet's flashing
Music is crashing
As the wooden soldiers march
Sabers a-clinking
Soldiers a-winking
At each little pretty maid

Here they come, here they come
Here they come, here they come
Wooden soldiers on parade

Lyrics
You better watch out
You better not cry
You better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town

He's making a list,
And checking it twice
Gonna find out who's naughty or nice
Santa Claus is coming to town

He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake!

You better watch out!
You better not cry.
You better not pout, I'm telling you why
'Cause Santa Claus is coming to town

He see you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake!

You better watch out
You better not cry
You better not pout, I'm tellin' you why
Santa Claus is coming to town

You better watch out
You better not cry
You better not pout, I'm tellin' you why
Santa Claus is coming
He's coming to town

Lyrics
Well, he walked up to me and he asked me if I wanted to dance.
He looked kinda nice and so I said I might take a chance.
When he danced he held me tight
and when he walked me home that night,
all the stars were shining bright
and then he kissed me.

Each time I saw him I couldn't wait to see him again.
I wanted to let him know that he was more than a friend.
I didn't know just what to do,
so I whispered I love you,
and he said that he loved me too,
and then he kissed me.

He kissed me in a way that I've never been kissed before.
He kissed me in a way that I wanna be kissed forever more.

I knew that he was mine so I gave him all the love that I had,
and one day he took me home to meet his Mom and his Dad.

Then he asked me to be his bride,
and always be right by his side.
I felt so happy I almost cried,
and then he kissed me.

Then he asked me to be his bride,
and always be right by his side.
I felt so happy I almost cried,
and then he kissed me.
And then he kissed me.
And then he kissed me.
