The Ronettes
The Ronettes were a Grammy award winning girl group from New York City and certainly one of the most popular groups of the 1960s. They had over eight songs on the Billboard Hot 100, five of which became top forty hits. Their hits include "Be My Baby", "Baby, I Love You" and "(The Best Part Of) Breakin' Up". Many of their songs were co-written by their producer Phil Spector. They were inducted into the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame," and the "Vocal Group Hall of Fame" in 2004.
