The New Seekers British-based pop group The New Seekers were an outgrowth of The Seekers, lead by Keith Potger to incorporate a 'rockier' edge to the folk orientated sound of the original band. The group enjoyed international success throughout the 70s, with eight Top 20 tracks in the first four years of the decade. Their song "Beg, Steal or Borrow" was selected to be the UK's entry to the 1972 Eurovision Song Contest, achieving 2nd place to Luxembourg.
